RBI withdraws minimum residual maturity restriction of 3 years for investment made by FPI

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has reviewed the Investment by Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs) in debt and decided to withdraw minimum residual maturity restriction of three years for investment by FPIs Central Government securities and State Development Loans.
