IBBI amends insolvency professionals norms; changes experience criteria, number of assignments capped to ten

NOTIFICATION NO. IBBI/2021-22/GN/REG077, Dated 23.07.2021

The IBBI has notified the IBBI (Insolvency Professionals) (Second Amendment) Regulations, 2021 whereby the eligibility requirements of insolvency professionals have been revised.

Consequently, individuals having complete limited solvency exam and pre-registration course and having 10 years in the field of law, after receiving a Bachelor degree in Law; 10 years in Management after qualifying PG diploma in management, or 15 years of experience in management after receiving a bachelor’s degree are eligible for Insolvency Professionals.
