The Govt. has appointed the 01st day of April 2022 as the date on which the provisions of sections 1 to 29 of the said Act would come into force. The major provisions include the Introduction of the small LLPs, Accounting & auditing standards for certain classes of LLPs, the Decriminalization of various penalties, the establishment of special courts & tribunals, period of residence as mentioned u/s 7 of the principal Act is reduced from 182 days to 22 days.
